CareZiaSpace Group Sessions, buddy connections, and all community peer support features are NOT therapy or clinical mental health services. Content shared in these spaces is community peer support only. Participants have no expectation of clinical confidentiality (HIPAA does not apply to peer support communities). Do not share information in community spaces that you would only share with a licensed medical provider.

1.5 AI Companion & Chat Data

Conversations with CareZia AI Companion and all AI chat features are NOT confidential clinical communications. They are NOT protected by HIPAA, therapist-patient privilege, or any other professional confidentiality law. The AI is not a licensed mental health professional. Do not share information in AI chats that you would only share with a licensed therapist or medical provider. Conversation data may be used to improve platform services as described in this policy.

1.6 Sensitive Data

• Mental health check-in data (mood, stress levels)
• Medical profile information (allergies, medications - optional)
• Wearable device health data (heart rate, sleep, activity)
• Crisis support conversations with AI
