From 30 Years on the Road to Building CareZiaSpace: My Journey

I never intended to become a tech entrepreneur. For over 30 years, I was a trucker β hauling freight across this beautiful, challenging country, learning lessons that no business school could ever teach.
The road teaches you about resilience. It teaches you about the kindness of strangers at 2 AM when your truck breaks down in the middle of nowhere. It teaches you about the phone call you never want to receive, telling you that someone you care about is in trouble and you're 800 miles away.
But the road also teaches you about gaps β the spaces between where you are and where help is, between what you need and what's available, between the crisis and the solution.
I built CareZiaSpace to fill those gaps.
The Personal Crisis
Five years ago, I got one of those calls. My son was struggling with depression, alone in his apartment, and I was three states away with a load that couldn't wait. I spent hours on the phone trying to find local resources, navigating automated systems, getting transferred from one department to another. Meanwhile, my kid was in crisis.
That night, I realized that all my years on the road β seeing different states, different systems, different ways people tried to help each other β had given me a unique perspective on what was missing.
Building the Solution
We needed a platform that could instantly connect people to help, anywhere they were. Not just phone numbers β real, actionable support. GPS-enabled emergency tools. AI that could provide immediate comfort while connecting to human resources. Family tracking that worked across state lines. Business tools that understood the unique challenges of life on the road.
The Mission
Every feature in CareZiaSpace comes from a real story, a real need I encountered in my 30 years of driving. The Emergency Remote? That's for every trucker who's broken down in an area without cell coverage. Family Guard Pro? That's for every parent who's had to choose between making a living and being there for their kids. The Rebound Program? That's for my son, and for everyone who's ever felt alone in their struggle.
I may not look like your typical Silicon Valley founder, and that's exactly the point. The best solutions come from people who've lived the problems they're solving.
Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Together, we're making sure nobody has to face their toughest moments alone.
